Idah Sanderson is originally from Sandviken, Sweden but has been living in Stockholm since 2018 where she studied performing arts in various forms, including acting and set design. Through her interest in body and character, she started her career in costume design and got her bachelor's degree in performing arts with a specialization in costume design at Stockholm university of the Arts in 2024.

Idah has a special interest in physical theater and dance as she likes to create costumes that come to life through movement. She also has a fondness for magical realism and striking visual imagery and likes to weave these elements into her designs.
